THE AMERICAN SONGBOOK
Opera on the Move presents a programme embracing the breadth of American music for the voice, from traditional songs to Broadway showtunes, from Barber and Copland to contemporary settings of Emily Dickinson and Langston Hughes.

The Concert also explores three of the masterpieces that reinvented music for the stage in the 20th century: Menotti's The Telephone, Bernstein's West Side Story and Sondheim's Sweeney Todd.
BRUSHSTROKES AND SOUNDWAVES
Impressionism, minimalism, romanticism: these movements spanned art, poetry and music.

Join us for a concert in fou tableaux inspired by French music and art from the 19th and 20th centuries.

From Monet to Fauré, Van Gogh to Debussy, Sait-Saëns to Morisot. Spoiler alert: American francophile artists may also be featured.
TRAVELLERS AND LANDSCAPES

'There - nothing but order and beauty lie,
Abundance, calm, and sensuous delight'

A voyage through art song in French, Italian and English: the convergence of poets who expressed their yearning to leave the world behind and travel into the unknown, and the composers who immortalised their words in music.
