Benjamin Schilperoort

Benjamin Schilperoort read History at Trinity Hall, Cambridge, before studying for a Masters at the Royal Academy of Music. His recent operatic roles include Colline La bohème, Fiorello Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Il Commendatore Don Giovanni (for Royal Academy Opera), cover of Masetto Don Giovanni (for British Youth Opera), and Seneca L’Incoronazione di Poppea (for Hampstead Garden Opera). Benjamin is also dedicated to the performance of song repertoire, and has performed at Leeds Lieder Festival. On the concert platform, he has given recitals across Europe, and appeared as a soloist in the prestigious Kohn Foundation Bach Cantata Series.
